WILL WRITING IN UGANDA

Making a Will is a right to all persons who qualify under the law. However, one may need the help of an experienced attorney to guide the process.  Important terms in Will writing: Testator: A person who makes a will. Executor: The person that the testator appoints to carry out their Will. Beneficiaries: The people or organizations who are entitled to a share on the properties or assets of the  Tastator Wills are in two forms; Unprivileged Will. Uganda National Chamber Of Commerce and Industries - UNCCI In conjunction with SEATINI had a sensitization workshop on the competition bill and the protocals of trade in the African Continental Free Trade Area - AfCFTA Mr. Debo Ronald, the Chairman Chamber Of Commerce and Industries Arua City Branch and his Vice Chair were invited as guests to attend the convention that took place in Fairway Hotel - Kampala. And on 1/12/2023 the Chairman and his Vice were officially welcomed to the Chamber Secretariat and hosted by the President Uganda National Chamber Of Commerce and Industries. THE DIRECTOR FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION NATIONAL RESISTANCE MOVEMENT VISITS MITYANA DISTRICT

The NRM Director Finance And Administration; Hajjat Medina Naham Ojale, visits Mityana District. DAF was welcomed by the party leadership of the District under the chairmanship of Mr. Kintu. She held a meeting with the party leaders at the NRM office before proceeding to the field. Also in attendance were the RDC; Mr. Joseph Mukiibi, the DPC; Afande. Ahmed Hasunira and the DISO; Mr. Byarugaba Edward. Together with the leaders, the DAF paid courtesy to Mityana School of nursing and midwifery under the proprietorship of Mr Kintu, the NRM District chairman. She also visited Tumwebaze Farm which is one of the renowned model farms in the municipality under the proprietorship of Madam Tumwebaze Faith the NRM admin of Mityana. Later on, she visited AVEMA Vocational training school under the proprietorship of Mr John Mary Kamya Bugembe who also doubles as the NRM MP Flag bearer of Mityana Municipality. ANOTHER CIRCUS OF FINANCIAL SCANDAL

Sarah Babirye Kityo, President of the Ugandan Netball Federation, has spoken out about her experience with the National Council of Sports (NCS). While appearing on NBS Sport, Babirye claimed that NCS General Secretary Dr. Bernard Ogwel has continuously frustrated her Federation’s activities by not complying with the set guidelines for allocating funds to the different sports disciplines. Babirye further alleged that NCS is a breeding ground for corruption. “I do not find it right when you give me Shs186 million and you ask me to account for Shs425 million just because you are my superior,” said Babirye. “I have evidence of his (Dr. Bernard Ogwel’s) letter with his signature on it,” she added. ARUA: A MOTHER DUMPS BABY IN A PIT LATRINE

The territorial police in Arua District have arrested a woman for dumping her baby in a pit latrine. The woman has been identified as 22 years old Drateru Janet. It's alleged that on 9th January 2023 at at about 10pm in the night in yivu east village, tilevu parish , Vurra Sub-County in Arua District Drateru Janet gave birth to a baby boy by induction, she cut the ambilical cord and dumped the baby in the neighbors pit latrine. The baby was found live and crying in the pit latrine by a resident who reported the matter to police. The police from Vurra police station reported to the crime scene followed by the fire brigade rescue team from Arua Central Police Station. The police removed the baby alive from the pit latrine and rushed him to Arua Regional Referral Hospital for treatment. The suspect was apprehended and detained at Vurra police station in Arua District pending further investigations into the matter.
