H.E YOWERI KAGUTA MUSEVENI PAYS TRIBUTE TO LATE EX-AMBASSADOR ANGUALIA LAUS RICHARD

His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni represented by the Director Finance and Administration - NRM; Hajjat Medina Naham Ojale paid tribute to the late ex-ambassador Angualia Laus Richard

Ambassador Angualia died in a fatal road accident on Wednesday 30th July 2025 in a head-on collision at Abi Zonal Agricultural Research Institute and he was buried 2nd August 2025 in Ombadri Village, Olevu Parish, Maracha District. 

The president expressed heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family, the people of Maracha and West Nile for the untimely death of their gallant son. 

In his message, the president described the late ex-ambassador Angualia as a dedicated and patriotic leader who understood the true role of leadership at both local and national levels, stressing that the late ex-ambassador Angualia performed very well in his role as Uganda's ambassador to Egypt and middle east and saluted the ambassador Angualia's contribution to the socio-economic transformation of Uganda. The president extended a humble contribution of ten million Ugandan shillings (UGX 10M) to the bereaved family. 

The National Resistance Movement Secretary General Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong Awany through the Director Finance and Administration also expressed heartfelt condolences and extended a contribution of five million ugandan shillings (UGX 5M) to the bereaved family.
