PRESIDENT MUSEVENI donates 200million shillings, as Hajjat Medina donates another 30million shillings towards the 18TH Provincial Prayer Peace Week under Arua Catholic Diocese Hosted by Koboko Parish On the 22nd January, 2025; The Director Finance and Administration - National Resistance Movement; Hajjat Medina Naham Ojale joined thousands of pilgrims and the clergy from West Nile, Acholi, Lango and Karamoja, at St. Charles Lwanga College Koboko for the 18th Provincial Prayer Peace Week that ran from 21st to 24th January, themed "Forgive Us Our Trespasses, Grant Us Your Peace." The week is dedicated to fostering reconciliation and healing among Northern Uganda's communities, fostering unity despite past conflicts, and also promoting mental healing among communities affected by the conflict. The Director Finance and Administration - National Resistance Movement, Hajjat Medina Naham Ojale, joined by the Koboko Municipality MP Hon. Dr Charles Ayume, held a fruitful arbitration engagement with a team from Uganda Revenue Authority and the Koboko District Business Community.  This comes after persistent complaints raised by the traders to the Director Finance and Administration over contentious concerns of taxation of agricultural produce that are non-taxable, corruption and intimidation at border and checkpoints The Director was prompted to convene a quick preceding meeting with the traders at KOMUPA HALL on 17th January, 2024 inquiring the in-depth basis of their grievances towards Uganda Revenue Authority.  Subsequently after the preceding engagement with the traders, the Director called the URA headquarters and without hesitation, the commissioner directed the supervisor in West Nile to call on the teams of Oraba, Arua and Pakwach to sit down and listen to the trad...
His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the NRM Chairman today held a meeting with the leadership of the party Secretariat led by the Secretary General Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong in Rwakitura, Kiruhura district.  Several issues regarding the digitization of the party register and the upcoming electoral road map were discussed. The National Chairman promised to convene the Central Executive Committee soon to discuss the details.
