Historically known as the lado enclave. A sub-region of extraordinary cultural richness, geographic strategic importance, and untapped economic potential. Its people are resilient, its soil is fertile, and its spirit is unbreakable. Yet for far too long, West Nile has watched from the periphery as other regions of Uganda have leaped forward economically, politically, socially and institutionally.
